To install the software, follow these general steps:
  1. Remove the USB License key
  2. Send an email on support@horosoft.net to receive the download link for setup.
  3. Run the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions.
  4. Complete the installation process and Insert the USB License Key.
  5. Launch the software.

Horosoft Professional 5.0 Backup Steps:

To back up your horoscopes in Horosoft Professional 5.0, follow these steps:

  1. Open Drive C: Open the File Explorer (also known as My Computer or This PC) and navigate to the C drive.

  2. Access HOROSOFT_PRO5.0 Folder: Locate and open the "HOROSOFT_PRO5.0" folder on the C drive.

  3. Navigate to User_Files: Inside the "HOROSOFT_PRO5.0" folder, find the "User_Files" folder and enter it.

  4. Copy UserData5 File: Locate the file named "UserData5" within the "User_Files" folder. Copy this file to your preferred storage, such as a pendrive or external drive.

  5. Restore Backup: When needed, copy the backed-up "UserData5" file from your pendrive or storage back to the "User_Files" folder in the "HOROSOFT_PRO5.0" folder on the C drive.

Horosoft Professional 4.0 Backup Steps:

For Horosoft Professional 4.0, the process is similar:

  1. Open Drive C: Navigate to the C drive using the File Explorer.

  2. Access HOROSOFT_PRO4.0 Folder: Open the "HOROSOFT_PRO4.0" folder located on the C drive.

  3. Navigate to User_Files: Within the "HOROSOFT_PRO4.0" folder, locate and enter the "User_Files" directory.

  4. Copy User_data4 File: Find the "User_data4" file inside the "User_Files" folder. Copy this file to your chosen storage device.

  5. Restore Backup: When necessary, copy the backed-up "User_data4" file from your storage back to the "User_Files" folder in the "HOROSOFT_PRO4.0" folder on the C drive.

Taking regular backups of your horoscopes is a wise practice to ensure the safety and availability of your data.

If you encounter the "Security lock not found" error, please follow these steps:

Solution 1: Reinstall the Rainbow USB Drivers

  1. Remove the USB key from your computer.
  2. Navigate to your C drive by opening My Computer or This PC.
  3. Locate and enter the appropriate folder based on the version you're using - "Horosoft_Pro 4.0" or "Horosoft_Pro 5.0".
  4. Run the file named Rainbow.exe. Follow the installation prompts by clicking NEXT and YES at every step.
  5. After completing the installation, restart your computer.
  6. Insert the USB device and launch the software.

Following these steps should likely resolve the issue and allow the software to run properly. However, if the error persists, there might be an underlying issue with your system that requires further attention.

Solution 2: Reinstall the Software

  1. Remove the USB key from your computer.
  2. Uninstall the software from the "Add & Remove Programs" section. (Take backup of Horoscope by following other topic from these FAQ's -"How do I take backup of my Horoscopes?")
  3. Send an email on support@horosoft.net to receive the download link for setup.
  4. Install the software after downloading, and once the installation is complete, insert the USB key and launch the software.

If you continue to experience the same error even after following the above steps, it might indicate an issue specific to your system. In that case, we recommend trying to run the software on a different system to isolate the problem.

Dongle Version: The software comes with a USB License device that offers flexibility in installation. While you can install the software on multiple computers, it's important to note that it will only run on the computer where the USB License device is inserted. This unique licensing approach allows you to use the software on various devices while ensuring that it's in compliance with the licensing terms. Simply insert the USB License device into the computer you wish to use the software on, and you're all set to explore its features and capabilities.

Dongle-Less (Digital) Version: The Software license is digitally bound to your email ID and a specific computer system.
  1. Activation is allowed on only one (1) computer.
  2. A "system change" refers to significant hardware modifications (e.g., CPU, motherboard, hard drive) or OS reinstallation that alters your system fingerprint.
  3. You are allowed up to one (1) system change requests per year.

We do not provide a feature to restore horoscope data online from our server, nor do we have a mechanism to sync horoscopes for backup purposes. Users are encouraged to perform manual backups of their horoscope data, as our server is not designed to serve as a backup platform.
